In UK government should definitely crack on those who have been bumming off the state and working illegaly for decades now, there are families BORN into this life, that's all they do, just live on benefits all their life doing bugger all. Does it make me angry? Very. But not to the point where I'd want that "pure capitalism" of yours. With your pure capitalism, those in the lower bounds that want to make it in the big world rather than scrooge off benefits like their parents are unable to do so, due to high school fees etc, which will be a result of private ownership, the poor will get screwed over with barely any chances of making it "big" in the world I guess. What it comes down to I guess, is until you get screwed over by life and will need benefits to survive you won't really appreciate the welfare system that the government has in place. I personally appreciate the welfare system, without even being screwed by life as of yet *touch wood* but I still think it could be better managed and a benefit check could be put in place but looking at it from the governments perspective it's easier to just pay the benefits rather than hire people to investigate whether they are essential or not.
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.
