Darksiders may be one of the worst ports I have played on PC. There are no graphics settings other than resolution and VSync and I have never been able to get the FMV to play smothly, whatever I try ether the audio losses sync or the video stutters and skips.  And to make matters worse the game it's self may run at 60fps most of the time with Anti-Aliasing forced (and to make the cut scene problem worse gameplay with forced AA looks better than the pre rendered cutscenes as they use the same assets with a bit of AA then compressed down so they look blurry with some blocking,) then seemingly randomly the game will drop down to 10 FPS for no aparent reason. Also had a couple crashes...

In any case you have been warned

I don't doubt you, but I'd like to say that it's playable, and I can't recall it crashing on me except for when I alt tabbed (then again, even TF2 crashes when I do that). the FMV's indeed contrast with the game itself, but that's not exclusive to Darksiders. like I said, I don't think you're lying or anything like that, but there are native games buggier than Darksiders :P

I'm probably exagerating a bit lol and I guess it hasn't crashed that much, the inability to get the cutscenes to play smothly does piss me off tho and random slowdown as well tho that was mostly fixed when I got a new Mobo and CPU still happens but it's less noticable now anyway...
