Random thought regarding the Wii 2; if the EA head is only implying it's in development (already a given), then that should be taken to mean it is not far enough along the way that SDKs have been distributed to third party developers.
Presumably they'll be made available shortly before the new platform announcement or immediately following which could be as early as this year's E3 with a potential November 2012 launch.
