Nintendo aren't that bad when it comes to localisations in Europe, nowhere near as bad at the old Squaresoft or Atlus.  One has to take into account that while they do not localise some of their games (such as Excitebots, Soma Bringer, Mario Baseball and Captain Rainbow), IMO it is more than made up by how they localise and/or release other studios games (such as Dragon Quest IX, Proffessor Layton, Inazuma 11, Trauma Centre and Glory of Heracles).

In general, localisations are pretty good this and last generation.  It's not like the 4th and 5th generations where we never got the likes of Chrono Trigger, Tales of Phantasia, Final Fantasy IV - VI, Ogre Battle MotBQ, Tactics Ogre, Dragon Quest V and VI, Fire Emblem, Seiken Densetsu III and Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Tactics Ogre (again), Dragon Quest VII, Ogre Battle 64, Tales of Destiny and Eternia, all respectively.
