Is Alan Wake complete without the DLC?

I am pretty much in the same boat as you, in regards to ME2 and AW DLC, I really liked both games but don't know if I can justify purchasing the DLC for them, unless there is a deal offered of course, both of which I've missed during Christmas.

I delete map packs for old games (like Gears 1, Lost Planet 1), and I have an external 8GB thumb drive. Combined I have 22GB of memory, and I usually have 4-5GB free. Never ran out of space before, but once in a while I have to move saves onto the thumb drive.
