Agree with the last sentence.
IMO, I will let myself get surprised with the 3D-effect. My sister are probably gonna get one anyway, and I'll borrow it then. She always wants the newest Nintendo toys, but she rarely actually uses them.
Myself, I will get a NGP, so I'm gonna play the best of both worlds anyway. :>
