I will say that I got to play the demo of Donkey Kong Country for the Wii today, and looks like it played like a competent platformer.  However, I don't see what is special about it.  Can someone fill me in here?  When you had DK Country on the SNES, it was the graphics that set it apart.  But now, it doesn't have that.

It was the best 2D platformer of 2010.  The graphics are still great (though not head and shoulders above most of the competition like with the first 2 DKC games).  It also has a type of multi-player that is better than the milti-player of most 2D platformers.  Also, wasn't just the graphics back then.  It was the gameplay, the graphics and the sound.
