This is probably common knowledge, but as most of you know the X360 is not selling as well as the original Xbox did during this time period. Why do you suppose that is? While I'm sure Halo will ship some consoles as will Gears of War, but they are not going to create a miraculous difference over night. In fact I don't know of anyone who's waiting for Halo, but quite the opposite most Halo and Xbox fans in my surroundings already seem to have an X360. So who are these people who haven't bought the X360 yet, but bought the original? Thoughts? One reason I can think of is that those who bought the original Xbox initially for the graphical and power difference (obviously not for it's big game library [/sarcasm]) are not really loyal to any specific console. So some of them may very well be waiting wait for PS3 instead. Which could explain why less people buy the Xbox 360 compared to the Xbox. Another reason could be that gamers are still not convinced by the next-generation and plan too wait longer. What are your thoughts?
