PS3 and 360 aren't that different-- I have both systems, and it is largely redundant as I don't have time to consistently play both of them.
I personally prefer PS3 more right now only because of free online and more exclusives coming out this year. I will probably not renew X-box Live next year as I don't want to waste any more money on this habit. I bought 360 only because I really wanted to play Halo. However, I don't really care much for Halo anymore and Kinect games aren't that exciting yet. Gears of War really isn't even that cool anymore, especially stacked against Uncharted 2. I was a big fan of Mass Effect, but even that isn't an exclusive anymore.
I am a big Nintendo fan and I think that the PS3 exclusives match up better with a Nintendo fan's tastes: more platformers (LBP, R&C), more JRPGs, a cool Kart racer (Modnation Racer), more imaginative games (The Last Guardian, Heavy Rain), and good casual games (Buzz, Singstar, Move games).
The 360 has become the shooter box lately and that gets a little repetitive.
Most anticipated games of 2011:
Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith
Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D
