:D
On the subject: yes, sales have fallen but they seem to have reached it`s low level, for now. Xbox 360 is doing really well but just in the states thanks to Kinect. To me it`s selling on name alone by now. If MS doesn`t present great games for it, the hype will fade sooner than later and sales will reach quicker it`s normal levels as seen in the other 2 territories.
PS3 is doing really well in Europe and Japan, imo, because of the flow of great titles and, let`s face the new redesign and price point did make it more attractive - that`s why i got one :D
Wii has had what? Epic Mickey, Goldeneye, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Wii Party? That was in 2010. What has Wii had so far that was impressive? As Nintendo always says: content sells. Could Nintendo do better to fill the gap left by 3rd parties? Yes it could. Gives new 1st party games besides Kirby Epic Yarn - which seems to been failing in Europe, btw - and if not another crop of NPC games.
Wii`s brand strength might last this generation and help sales per se but if Nintendo doesn`t do anything BIG it`s image perception might suffer when Wii 2 arrives and that`s really something Nintendo should consider. Let`s just hope E3 brings a good amount of great games, leading up to Zelda.
