People are so worried to show the world they are sensitive that they hurry to sensor the OP and everyone who thinks his question is relevant on this site regardless of the fact that the Earthquake happened only a couple of hours ago.

What I mean is that that the fact that he asks about sales or that we think his question is relevant on a site of this nature even at a time as this doesn't mean we give a shit about what happened (I have good friends in Hokkaido, for instance, and I know about natural disasters cause one stroke me and my family when I was just a kid). Assuming that we are not sensitive to it is a huge mistake. But you don't care about being right. You just care about the pleasure of censoring others with the huge sword of god, you inquisitors wanna be.

I think you need to look up difference between censoring and just expressing opinions. Censoring would be if we were all mods and decided to lock his thread. That's censoring. The only person that seems to be trully overreacing in this thread is you. I do not have a huge sword of god, but it does sound pretty badass.

Hyperbole
.  That's what the censor thing was. Those who know words are social constructions and never express the same thing for every person and refer to diferent things on diferent contexts are more biased to use them. Them and latin americans and poets.

I may be overreacting. I may not. Anyway. I think its healthy people express their opinions. It's even healthier when they can do it in spaces in which people are open to hear them. People handle grief on different ways. Some might  chose to talk about how Michael Jacksons cds would sell right after his death if they were worried about that subject prior to his decease, regardless if they choose a "cdchartz" site to do so or not. Other might chose to put the "insensitive" label on the first group to cope with it.

So you're saying it was an exagerration? It was mainly people saying that the thread is out of line not saying that thread should be closed. IF people were saying that thread should be closed then you could have used that comparison, what many have done is just commented that it's just too early to talk about such controversial topics so soon. You were overreacting in this instance if I am honest.
