Come on now! If Move wasn't created to beat Kinect or to help them move consoles. Why even waste the money on developing, advertising, and selling it. Move is about as good as the original Power Pad when it comes to moving software, and hardware.

If you are refering to the time they were developing Move and Sony was unaware of kinnect's capabilities (and I think you are) then yeah, of course you are totally right.

However, if you meant Sony expected Move to beat Kinnect even after both were announced and even up to the launch then I can't agree with the bolded bit.

 X360 has the bigger user base and more marketing mu$cle. Not to mention that Kinnect got so much more hype and was more "revolutionary".

Any sane person would never have backed on Move beating kinnect, not even the most ardent of fanboys (remember I said "sane person").
