It sounds dumb but the game looks too bright...I hate to go back to Ocarina for reference, but there were elements that were very dark. The town being ravaged by ReDeads and disrepair was cool. Ganondorf riding his dark horse through the flames and Shadow Temple painting trickery was good as well. I hope this game isn't some storybook good vs. evil type thing a la Epic Yarn, but with Link in it.

TWW was bright as well yet it had some darker parts...so...

Like someone said earlier in this post, the Contrast was well done in previous titles. There were many bright spots in Wind Waker I'll admit, but with cel-shading that comes with the territory. The way the art style was going lent itself to that. Toon Link's face was also very expressive.

From the little I have seen of Skyward Sword I'm not sure when it is going to get 'serious'. Ganondorf getting you know what at the end of Wind Waker was serious...the blood at spurting from Ganon at the end of Link's repeated slashing in OOT was serious. With this game, I have the feeling the enemies are gonna disappear in puffs of smoke more whimsical than that of Twilight Princess.

Granted, its a pretty pessimistic outlook but I just don't want the game to be the Zelda version of Epic Yarn.
