This isn't entirely true, it came out that content will need to be repurchased for PS Suite devices for example (including Sony Ericson's Xperia Play).

Besides, Maxwell's point with backwards compatibility still stands to a large degree... NGP isn't fully backwards compatible (it's digital only), while 3DS is (both physical and digital).  You can Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days or Re:Coded on your 3DS, you can't play Birth By Sleep on your NGP.

Ah, you are very correct good sir. I did agree with max on not having UMD BC, my issue was with something else... he's yet to say NGP has BC at all!!! Which we both know is incorrect if he doesn't conceed so in his next post. And honestly, the kind of BC that Sony has is better in the long run.

Soon I even think we'll even see nintendo follow the same stratagy because of how efficent it is.

Wait you're being butthurt that I didn't say rebuying the PSP games or just buying a digital version is letting you play some old titles on your NGP? Did I really have to?  That's painfully obvious it's true, but it's a rather lame point cause a very very small percentage of users actually buy their games through the service cause the prices aren't competitive with retail most of the time. So most people follow logic and go hey do I want a higher priced digital copy that I can't sell again or let it gain value or buy this physical copy for 5 to 10 dollars cheaper that I can collect, let it grow in value as it gets rare, and then resell it if I needed to, hard choice.

So we get to the root of it, you were assuming I was meaning NGP had NO way of playing older titles, simply not true, it has no way of playing titles most people own big difference.
