I think the idea though is that this is just where the next wii may come from conceptually. Who knows what they'll do. Maybe it will come with a fold out sort of 5X5 wall? It's hard to say. The Wii might have been shunned at it's conceptual stage for not being feasible given all the "room" that people needed to wave their arms around for wii sports etc... And of course costs and whatnot will come down as well as time goes on.
One problem Nintendo is going to face in the future is competing with 3d tvs. This may eliminate the problem of having to buy one. All of those would have been considered bogus ideas. But they were all in line with the concept of the wii. What we are seeing may be fruitful towards the final Wii2 hardware.
