Perhaps, however, the only thing Sony need to do to usurp, or even get close, to the 3DS is to just support it, advertise it, get great games on the system and make it having a USP/gimmick which will sell millions. And...
KEEP THE PRICE DOWN!
Seriously, if this is over $350, or even $300, at launch, its in serious trouble...
With that said, the NGP may well be the better console for many, but with no gimmick which can be easily shown in adverts, and poor brand recognition, Sony need to support this for First day to Last day for it to even be close to the 3DS (i.e. 60-40 split)
