Here is another reason: Nintendo hates the GameCube.
And about Mario Party 8: Mario Party 7 came out late 05 (I think) and Nintendo already had Wii dev kits at that point so Mario Party 8 was likely a 100% Wii developed title.
Lastly, Nintendo really hasn't had any compelling games for the Wii besides Prime 3 and Galaxy and Zelda (but that is better on the GCN anyways).

It comes with every damn Wii sold! WarioWare: ugh Super Paper Mario: Sorry ass excuse for another Paper Mario and a Side Scrolling Mario game Big Brain Academy Wii: Lame. Mario Strikers Charged: Oh goody another f***ing Mario cash-in Mario Party 8: A lot of people who buy the Wii aren't that smart, they pick up shit like this and think it's good. CASE IN POINT!!! I NEED REAL VIDEOGAMES. NOT THESE SHITTY ASS CASUAL CRAP. Remember F-Zero GX? That game was tough! Remember Metroid Prime? That was one hell of a game (Prime 3 left me dissapointed, it wasn't hard at all). I guess I am just too old-school. I like hard games. Nintendo wants to cater to everyone so know I get to put up with shit games. Mario Galaxy is one of the best games ever, but honestly, I sat down and got 40 stars in like 7 hours. It took me forever to get em all in Mario 64! End of Rant: I hate Casual Gamers. They all deserve to die. I long for the Nintendo that was in last place and made a crap load of great games that were challenging and fun. I don't want games that I can beat in 2 days without even trying. |
