VS is a weird thing to me. When it got announced it was counter to the HD consoles getting motion controls. It may have been a strategy thing to steal away some thunder. The design formerly seen for it was sort of impractical for gaming since it took away one of the player's fingers. I'm thinking they may try to build it directly into the controller for their next gen system so that companies can make the most of it.
