I love my Wii and am glad I bought it first.
It has had many great games and my family has had an enormous amount of fun with it.
However, last year and what I know and think is being released this year has been underwhelming. Not from a Nintendo publishing point of view as that is always constant with a few hits a year. But, the 3rd party scene is nonexistant.
While Nintendo won't comment for obvious reasons yet, it seems obvious to me that 2012 will bring its successor as its support, as Rol mentioned, is gone.
However, with 3DS launching now, I don't think we'll hear anything about it until the shows during late fall at the earliest and a full disclosure next GDC/E3 (2012).
I just hope they don't hold up ZeldaSS like they did TP.
