The N64 is my choice. I was 11 when I got it, and I played that for thousands of hours. Smash Bros, Mario Kart 64, Banjo Tooie, Pokemon Stadium 1/2, and NHL 99 was what I spent much of my gaming life on.
And the controller. I loved that trident, but most people seem to hate it. It was comfortable in my hands, and the purple atomic controller was so cool. I could see the inside, which was fascinating back then. I bring it out every now and then, when my friends and I get together, and it feels so nice to play the games from our childhood.
The N64 so far has been my favorite console, although, by the end of the generation, I think the wii will overtake it.
