It could depending on 3ds's life
3ds can do 12 million its first year to match 04 05
06 is 20 million that doesn't seem far fetched
07,08,09 all sold 30 million a year.
21 million 2010 and probably 15 million this year.
If the 3ds can have the years like this
2011:15
20-25 million in 2012
13,14,15: 25 million at least
and 20-25 million for 2016
If it does that than it has a chance to be on par or not to far behind, So outselling the ds won't be to hard if they pull off the same numbers but stay out longer. Also the numbers are trying to follow ds's pattern not 3ds's future or will do
