I was about to make a wise remark to your first post when I spotted this..
Why even bother getting one then? Aren't all 3DS games playable on other DSes? I don't know.
It's your money and I am not telling you how to spend it but it's like someone buying an expensive colour TV but can only see in black and white.
Anyway I hope your seizures can be resolved and you can truly enjoy the awesomeness that is the 3DS.
My boss bought one on Saturday when he was in Japan so hopefully I will see it tomorrow or day after.
