I think that 3DS won't do as good as some thinks.this year it will be expensive and not so much software support.

3DS sold 400k FIRST DAY

PS2 sold 990,000 first day japan only and it only done 6mln first year

PS2 launched in March (JP) October (NA) and November (Europe). So it was a Japan Exclusive for the majority of the year. It was only available in NA for 3 moths and Europe for 2 moths.

3DS launched  in February (JP), and March (Everywhere else). So it will be available WW for the majority of the year.

Not that I agree with his prediction, but I highly doubt that 3DS will do better than the home consoles this year, supply constraints and the first 3 months disadvantage will play in favour of the consoles, don't know if DS will trump 3DS too, but highly likely it will, only beating PSP in it's first year - again due to supply constraint and the head start that other consoles and a handheld got. Just my opinion. Wiii will probably be on top again, but by a much shorter margin this time.

It will be huge, just not as huge as it could be. I don't think Nintendo can ship 3DS and count the money it brings fast enough :L
