I reckon it'll end up around the same as Halo 3 LT...

For me over 10m sure but less than Halo 3 (11.4m).

That was my first prediction for Reach.

I think it will be close...

Dropping off FAR too quick for my liking. I wonder if the same will happen with GT5, though, it doesn't look like it ATM

GT5 already had a steep drop off. Haven't you noticed it's already out of the top 10, and that it's weekly sales are about half GT4's? GT4 was in the top 10 for about 25 weeks, selling 90k weekly, GT5 is like 20th selling 50k now.

It's understandable why GT5 isn't in the top ten because:

  • GT5 released in the era of the Call of Duty phenomenom. GT4 did not. GT4 didn't have to compete with COD games to make top ten.
  • GT5 released in the era of the Wii Phenomenom. GT4 did not. GT4 didn't have to compete with Wii games to make top ten.
  • GT5 released in the era of the DS Phenomenom. GT4 did, but DS is a lot stronger than '05. GT4 didn't have to compete with DS games to make the top ten.
  • GT5 released in the era of the Kinect phenomenom. GT4 did not. GT4 didn't have to compete with the Kinect and its games to make top ten.
  • GT5 released in the era of 4 healthy consoles. GT4 only had to compete with PS2 and DS games, while GT5 had to compete with PS3, Wii, 360, and DS games to make top ten
  • GT5 released in the holiday season. GT4 released in February (JP), April (NA), and May (EMEAA). GT4 didn't have to compete with all the holiday releases, and all the post holiday releases to make top ten.
