I'm not going to be missing anything vital for not finishing Phantom Hourglass, am I? I'll stomach it if I have to, but if there's nothing extremely important at the end of Phantom Hourglass, then I suppose I shall.

The ending of Phantom Hourglass is not important for Spirit Tracks, no. Not at all. Ending of Wind Waker, maybe a little, but you already know how that goes just from starting PH.
