| madskillz said: No, but folks in Europe do. The holidays are a beast - boosted numbers and the like - but while the numbers stay up? Of course not! And why did the PS3 see huge numbers during the holidays? Folks buying PS3s as gifts. When the holiday rush wears off, please give reasons why someone would buy a PS3 over a 360. Sure, gaming lineups, but is that enough to keep this going? Look at the numbers - how big the PS3 leads were. They are shrinking. For a machine that's supposed to be dominating, it's gonna be a long year for the PS3.
The 360, problems and all, still has the largest and best lineup for any next-gen console. |
The 360 has the best lineup of any next-gen console? By whose standards? Core gamers and hardcore gamers? Sorry, but they make up all of about 20% of the market.
If the European sales were due to only the holiday season, then it should have been the 360 way ahead considering that it's cheaper and has the best lineup.
Consoles owned: Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, PSP, DS, PS3
