That's stupid, and I doubt it's true.

1. Pre-ordering is free, I dunno who told you they charge.

2. Why would every Bulletstrom copy make an automatic Gears 3 preorder? Maybe some people wouldn't want to buy Gears 3, and how do they get your data anyway?

3. And what about people who never go online?

The second link is contradictory of your statement.

Also, it says if you buy Bullestorm you get a discount, it never says it'll be preordered automatically.

Preorders will rise, but not by much.
