To clarify I'm talking strictly about my personal expectations. I'm not sure about VGChartz' guesstimates as usually I don't agree with the overall worldwide guesstimates outside of the UK, US and Japan (which are also often off but more quickly corrected so don't matter much from the grand perspective but only at the time of guesstimating).
In any case the guesstimates regarding sold to retail figures compared to actual financial sales reports indicate much Wii/360 overtracking and PS3 undertracking. I don't agree with the usual given reasoning the PS3 is always much more heavily stocked at retail than its competitors. At the end of 2010 there are clear signs of huge Wii overstocking here in Europe.
Some time ago I also provided clear evidence that GTA IV during a large period the PS3 version in Europe was relatively significantly undertracked compared to the XBox 360 version. It did not yield a satisfactory response from VGChartz (despite being Nintendo data, which is usually taken in high regard by VGChartz).
