There exists a 3D version of Mario Kart Wii

While I wouldn't mind playing Mario Kart Wii (or any pre-existing game) in 3D, I'm hoping they won't get into the habit of just re-releasing straight ports of older games.  A new mario Kart created with 3D in mind would be appreciated that much more.
