It's now been officially announced that Far Cry 2 will be on consoles when it releases sometime in the near future. This might be the reason why Crytek were looking for PS3 programmers earlier, and it just might be that the rumors of Crysis on consoles, which seem to persist into 2008 are simply misinterpretations of this. Allthough, the exact participation of Ubi in the process is unclear as of yet. Ubisoft Montreal might lease the programmers from Crytek, more details are inbound.
Anyways, good news for any PS3 and 360 fans, PC gamers won't have this tasty hog all to themselves!
