Well the story so far has me hooked. I'm not sure how well it'll work with the time transitions though. It all feels a little too linear (at least the bits in the demo). Be nice to find out who else is in the cast. Bioware seem to over-rely on the same character troupes (e.g. Carth/Kaiden/Jacob/Alistair) although there have been some interesting exceptions.

The combat is much faster and fluid and feels like it could work nicely but not being able to go to the top-down view was a bit annoying for some spell and ability placements. I'm still not sure why they don't let you do that on PC; the ceilings aren't that good!

I miss not being able to play as other races and I miss the origin story, but the main character talking is a nice addition. I also hate that they've taken the path of all responses = good, neutral or bad. Part of the fun of Origins (and The Witcher) was that all responses were gray. Not good, not bad, just choices and outcomes with both positives and negatives.

Basically, it's like Dragon Age but at the sametime, not Dragon Age. It's just different. Not sure if it's better or worse, just different.
