i hope you mean you woke up in time to read the evening "flavour" (is that the story thing?), but what you're saying is a bit redundant. Between the end of day 1 and the start of day 2 there is no discussion! that means any surprise we had (such as my initial thought of "mother fuckers") at the events of the lynch, we were unable to exclaim our surprise until day 2 started.
otherwise your comment contradicts this. your apparent surprise could then be, as you put it, "pretty alien". Don't tar yourself with the same brush of judgement man
