The Wii isn't in trouble at all IMO. Nintendo still has many potential things that they can do to boost sales and even keep them high.

*Price Cut__A Price Cut will cause Wii sales to go up a lot more than people seem to think. If you remember correctly the PS2 got a HUGE  boost when it went under the $200 price point.

*Vitality Sensor__IMO, Vitality Sensor will be the main reason Wii sales will go back up. I expect V.S to be shown at GDC in about a week. V.S will be the next big Wii system seller IMO and has the potential to be as big as Wii Fit.(Wii's biggest system seller)

*Redesign__If you have been paying attention both the PS3 and 360 have already had Redesigns but Wii hasn't. If Nintendo desides to do a Wii Plus in the same way as DS to DSI...Wii will get a good boost.

*More Games!__The Wii hasn't exactly had much in 2011...I am not talking about just big system sellers either LOL. I am talking about just games in general including shovelware. The Wii has had literally nothing so far in 2011 besides for Mario Sports Mix. When games come then sales will follow.

Also, I must ask...why is everyone acting like Zelda Skyward Sword will save the Wii? 1: The Wii doesn't need to be saved LOL because its doing fine for the kind of support its currently getting.(Again, its support will improve soon IMO.) 2: Yes, Zelda Skyward Sword will push some Wii systems...especially for the "Core" who used to own a Wii but sold it. I expect it to push a decent amount similar to Donkey Kong Country Returns but it won't be a NSMBW, Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii, or even a Brawl.

*Off Topic* If anything, IMO PS3 is the one in the most trouble.
