I don't normally post twice in a thread, but, this ONE time, I suppose I will....
1st off, in terms of high level play, Sentinel is STILL the best character in the game.
He's still fast, he's still over powered, and he still has the most health of anyone in the entire game... Sentinel with level 3 X-Factor can wipe out an entire team with one combo per character..
All characters in this game have a touch of death combo. In a couple of years (if that long) if you get touched, you die, plain and simple.
It's not that it's different from Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, it that what they changed is not welcomed... Sure, the characters can defend themselves better in general, that's good, because in MvC2, you won or lost based on your team mates... Good assists means you win..
In this game, what matters is when you do X-Factor... 1st to use X-Factor loses the match... And, if Dark Pheonix gets level 3 X-Factor, you've lost.... So, just wait on everyone to re-adjust... you'll be losing on a regular basist again, and see Sentinel pop up in every team.... Ten more years of MSS. There you go... Just like MvC2....
I didn't buy this game.. I played it twice.. And, I'm allowed to not be satisfied with it.... You don't see me knocking all of you that like the game.. So, don't make some big deal about me not liking the game.. Ask anyone who knows how to actually play Vs. games, they'll tell you it's not the gem that MvC2 was, and MvC3 could never live up to MvC2. Too simplistic.. every character has a S-M-M-H-S combo, among others... too simple, and just about everyone is the same... and, Chris is the new Cable.
