GT5 was always looking to sell a lot, the problem was the franchise was trending up in EMEAA and down in US/Japan and a lot of people/sites decided to take the downtrending to indicate a problem while ignoring the uptrend in other regions.

Just saying... GT5 was UP in US too or at least on pair... Japan is the big issue here (50% drop).

Then again, Japan has become handheld land more or less so a drop is not that surprising.

True, but that drop is a tad too precipitous.  Something else was up too.....

The trend toward handhelds is pretty nuts though.

Indeed, seems like they don't like their Nissans anymore

the problem with japanese sales is PD didn't make all the Nissans premium and some how downloadable onto the PSP, i new it was a mistake for them not to wait for the NGP.
