It was obvious, the novelty of motion controls has worn off (thing that we are going to see with Kinect itself, which is never going to be huge as it was back in Dec, IMO). Now the Wii can live only in the ammount and quality of its software, and we know that we have a problem there. I think Nintendo should take this as one in a life-time oportunity: start hyping up their new hardware, releasing it before the end of 2012. They can ride on the success of the Wii, getting more support from 3rd parties, offering a very powerful machine and expanding their library to more mature titles. Nintendo has to remember that at the end, casual gamers are not going to make them survive as a vidya company.
