I'd expect a price cut in early September to close out Q3. Their last October NPD (220k?? I dont remember) was fairly low in comparison to 2009.
The Wii's hardware sales are completely dependent upon software though. Zelda will be big, but its potential to push hardware doesn't seem too likely to happen for long.
The Wii's sales are good considering right now, but when you look at the YOY percentage...its terrible. Now granted, when you look at Wii sales relative to the Gamecube, its Christmas at double the price with boatloads of more software selling.
Nintendo has to Respond, not React.
