In the end of 2005, the year the DS was full on, it has sold about 11 millions and the GBA almost 9 millions, only a 2 millions difference. And given the factors I wrote on the OP, yes, I believe the DS to outsell the 3DS in 2011. |
When the GBA outsold the DS, DS was still a novelty not a household name. 3DS won't have that problem.
When I said "3DS will sell more week one, and from there on it will outsell DS every week of the year", I meant if the system is launched in the major three area's.
Still twist it whatever way you won't by june/july 3DS will be lightyears ahead of DS YTD sales.
