A lot of what NGP offers has already been seen on DS. Little Deviants controls with the touch screen....Sooooooo 2004. I really don't see the Hardcore Casual buying an NGP for games like that.

i didn't know the DS had an track pad on the back, or motion sensors  or powerful graphics capabilites. Or 3G functions.

and if touch screen is Sooooo 2004 why is the iphone the most popular phone ever and its an touch screen

Did i mention iPhone? No.

None the less, Little Deviants plays with the touchscreen and the DS already had a piece of that cake 7 years ago. So this is bringing nothing new to the masses and the casuals can give two damns about graphics.

In Little Deviants the players is shown using the pressure sensative rear trackpad to cause the land in the main screen to rise up.

DS touchscreen and 3DS touchscreen can not do that what so ever.

Just because DS a touchscreen does not mean that all future touchscreens are irrelevant. Even more so when NGP touchscreen is more advanced than DS/3DS touchscreen and the addition of the rear touchpad only brings touch controls to a new level.

For one, it allows touch controls without the hassle of blocking the screen with a stylus or fingers.

You may think that means nothing, but it means a lot.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)
