Disagree movies do not equal games, a successful game format does not equal a successful format.
Nope but blu ray is better for both
You can fit a whole blu-ray movie onto a dvd At lower quality, so no thats not the case, a lot of multi plats look better on the 360 even while having an install on the ps3
That's a bad port, ps3 exclusives look better then 360 ones, whats your explination for that? And again without arcade they would have an install on 360
Do research I am not defending about the codecs. h.264/mpeg4 and mpeg2 are both 2 of the 3 encodings used by blu-ray. VC-1 is the other and also developed by MS. I have done my research.
Either way it's insignificant and why don't you linke me, you always ask me for proof you haven't done any research
No thats not why that was Square-Enix's excuse, enough people have pulled it apart and seen that its not the case, I am not having this discussion because it is off topic.
Square actually never made that excuse they kept claiming they were equal, and then there was the devs saying they cut like 8 gigs for the 360 version (both got cut because of it) so yeah, blu ray > dvd
PC games have much much more compression then either the PS3 or Xbox360, in fact it also looks better, you just proposed an argument against the blu-ray I will let it lie though because I don't think that was your meaning.
No they don't 360 games have just as much compression as pc games, moreso then some since MS holds patents, the arcade model is the only reason 360 doesn't have games with mandatory installs
