I saw him talking about it on BBC News this morning. He is infinitely awesome

However, sadly, he discounts the Wii and Nintendo as a "proper" gaming company, which is sad, really. He's pretty cool otherwise...

Well, he's a comedian so maybe he was joking?

He's also ridiculously intelligent and has a degree in maths and theoretical physics, so maybe he's right? Ninty not a proper gaming company confirmed!!!! lol

That's pretty much what I meant. 

Gaming isn't what he depicts it, "which one isn't croutch!" 

Gaming is like where you'l happily re=play the same area over and over and over again to get to the end, to get it perfectly, because it's fun, but because it's hard. 

Sadly, not enough modern games stick to this ideal

It's just comedy. It's funny because I've watched my girlfriend doing similar things when she plays a lot of core games.
