The good part is the hackers can't steal data when the PS3 has a offical Firmware.

Yeah a hacker can steal your credit card information if you install his CFW on your PS3.

First thing is if you're dumb enough to install a CFW you probably deserve this ( basically the ppls at risk are those that try to pirate) and second thing is it's not different from every other hardware.

If you install a trojan or some other shit on your PC, ppls can steal your credit card information too....

I had CFW on my PSP 1000 and 2000 just because I could. I didn't pirate. I ran homebrew apps. Itws just like my Droid is jailbreaked. And the main benefit of my jailbreak, I have the CPU running equal to the Droid X.
