Also I've gotten into this debate before, PS3's 2011 lineup is not really any different then MS's. In terms of console pushers, MS likely has more games. Gears of War, Forza, Kinect 2nd wave of games, and rumored Halo/Halo Kinect/Gears Exile will likely push more consoles then Uncharted, Resistance and The Last Guardian this fall.

I have to stop you there and argue that have you seen this list? http://www.gametrailers.com/users/Dragun619/gamepad/?action=viewblog&id=514597 There's like 20 games on that list I'm interested in and all exclsuives, MS doesn't even have the amount of devs it would take to make as many games as I'm interested in on that list at once never mind the ones that I'm not, and wouldn't anyone who's interested in Gears/Halo/Forza already have a 360? I don't see how they would be bigger console pushers then something like Twisted metal which is an extremely popular series tahts just coming to ps3 now or Last Guardian Sorry but I just don't see the third installment of series on the same console as major console pushers when those are more or less the only games on real interest on said console

I've seen that list, but you know about 5-10 of those PS3 games are not comming to Americas/EMEAA this year, if at all. PS3 has more well know sequels coming out, but the number of games is actually about the same.

Every game with a set release date for 2011, or 2012 is on the above link. Games with no planned Americas/EMEAA release are not included.

There is more to MS's lineup then Gears, Forza, and Halo. This whole game arguement is stupid because Sony announces games a long time ahead of schedule, and MS keeps quite until basically the year of. How long was we known about The Last Guardian and FF Versus XIII, and how many times has The Last Guardian been delayed? Who is to say it won't be delayed like in was in 2010?

At the bold: Would anyone interested in Uncharted, LBP, or Killzone already have a PS3 right now? PS3 has more sequels this year then MS, despite roughly the same number of titles, so your point kind of hurts the PS3 arguement more

Twisted Metal: Go look at TM sales for PS1 and PS2. They are about 1 million a game. This is not that big of a franchise.

The Last Guardian: This is going to be a great game, but it's by no means a system seller. Look at ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Sales, SotC is about 1 million, and ICO isn't even registered.

Anyway, my point was MS has more console pushers. Out of all of PS3's exclusives, the only games with a decent chance to break 5 million are LBP2 and Uncharted 3. Gears 3 and Forza 4 are basically garenteed to sell over 5 million, and multiple of the rumored 360 games could break 5 million as well (Halo, Halo Kinect, Gears Exile, something with Kinect in the title, Dungeon Hero, etc).

Um Dead Island is coming to ps3 too now so you might want to update that list and frankly I think 5-10 of the games on MSes list won't come out in 2011, and it depends who's saying it's released for 2011 often sites will say something that is TBA is for 2011 just because, do you honestly believe all those 360 games are going to come out in 2011 and stay exclusive? Especially when some are on pc and MS owns no rights and a million sales to a console is better then 0 since the same 5 million people who bought the last game buy the next one and again look at the ps3 list there are about 50 games, so 10 that don't come out this year is still 40, you are using rumored games for 360s list and it's not even half that

K, Wiki had Dead Island as a 360 exclusive, but on the page itself it says PS3 too. I didn't get to look into every one of these games.

Which 2011 360 titles do you not think will be released in 2011? MS doesn't have a history of delaying games, and most of those games have set release dates.

Wait, what 50 games for PS3? Thats overexageratted. I looked at your link, it was like 30, 30 - 10 = 20, well 19 to be exact here.

A lot of those 360 games, are Kinect games, they can't go multiplatform, and the only rumored game is Halo: Combat Evolved, and the reason it's on the list is because 343 Studios promised a Halo every year. Gears of War Exile is a registered game, and there is a lot of talk about it being released in 2011. It may be a 2012 title, but it's hardly enough to say that many of the 360 games on that list will be pushed back to 2012. I beleive everyting on that list has a 2011 release date, except Demons of Mercy and Dungeon Hero, so I can move those to 2012 then.

Sony has a history of delaying games, MS is known not to even announce games until very late. So I don't think anything from MS (Firefly Studios, Kinect exclusives, 343 Studios, etc) will be delayed. I think except for Dead Island, thats a very detailed and accurate list. 16 vs. 19 isn't a big difference, and we dunno what MS and Sony will announce at E3 this year.
