You'll get over it. I had the same story, albeit far less extreme, with me giving someone a beating and not getting one. If the feelings are unanswered, then fuck her. If it doesn't work out how you want it for you, then fuck it. You can't suddenly force it, and if you start off as friends, it'll never turn into anything romantic - EVER. I speak from experience from that aforementioned story. Start off bold, and don't settle for anything less than a gf-bf relationship. No romance will come from a friend relationship.
