I know heaps of people with really really really old PCs who can't be arsed to upgrade them. Mentally its just easier to think 'console = games' than go through the multiple step process of figuring out a new computer purchase. |
Thats recommended specs for like all newer, publisher games. So anything stronger will actually last a few years. Sadly more people are getting netbooks then even freaking laptops let alone a desktop. Even the $299 desktop at walmart is actually decent for gaming.
Lucky thoughm most smaller awesome games like Super Meat Boy and Monday Night Combat require this or less:
Most laptops easily beat this, and in two generations netbooks should.
