lol.  Wii has always sold ahead of PS2 in the US, launch aligned it's ahead of PS2 in sales by over a year's worth of PS2 sales.  Wii outselling PS2 in the US is a matter of when, not if.... and when is probably before the end of 2012.

Wii sold 7 million more than PS2 last year in Americas and this year it was DOWN about 30%.

Even if it could sell like last year then more than 2 years is necessary to surpass PS2.

So what make you believe "probably before the end of 2012"?

That could happen in 2013 or 2014... but if Wii 2 annuncied before that I guee not happen.

Wii 2 will impact Wii sales, but they won't stop them entirely.  Look how NES sold after SNES, SNES after N64 or GBA sold after DS... hell, after Wii 2 we may actually see that fabled Wii redesign going by Nintendo's past record (NES and SNES both got their redesigns after their successors hit shelves).
