I've been saying this for the longest time. The demographic of the userbase has to be taken into accountability. The Wii has made it self the casual/Family oriented console. A game like Last Story is anything but casual. 360s overall fanbase's numbers show that many of them are reluctant to try JRPGs, and yet the PS3 is still starving for great exclusive JRPGs. We saw what happened with a great RPG in Demons Souls (Over a million sales now) and we saw what happened with a mediocre (Though i loved it) one in White Knight Chronicles (600,000 copies sold) and not to mention that the Tales ports have handidly outsold the original versions on the 360/Wii

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
