Demon's Souls received pretty bad scores from Famitsu and it definitely hindered its sales. It ended up having good legs because of good word of mouth.

Things will be different with Dark Souls as it will be more hyped and Famitsu takes hype into consideration when they rate a game.

For the game Demon's Souls is, those scores are pretty bad.

i remember give Demons Souls 9 mark's guy was reason of FF13 didn't get full marks in Famitsu
