It's an excellent game so you have to expect this.
Maybe that after playing so few good games these years, this first game close to the "perfect Rpg" makes me like it more.
But I like to use the way I feel while playing when I compare games. And when I played Xenoblade, It was a strong feeling, each discovery was something big to me and it's not the case for a lot of rpg, especially this days.
And, the best thing is that I wasn't disapointed by nearly anything in the game except for secondary things. But I'll try to rething about each part and score the game as close as possible.
The problem is that like you say review are also opinions, because some one that love A-Rpg would give a bad score to a turn based for example which isn't right. I don't really know what kind of Rpg I like, but I can assure you that, even if you disliked the game, it's really an excellent one.
After all this time... Xenoblade.
I hope We won't have to wait so much for the next one.
