By order:

Valkyria Chronicles (even people who don't generally like JRPG loved it. Buy it)

Eternal Sonata (Sweet and fun old school JRPG, you need to play it)

resonance of fate (Can be hard to fully understand and master the battle system, but incredibly fun once you do)

star ocean the last hope (only recommend it if your a big Star Ocean fan)

 

white knight chronicles (Its said that WKC 2 will include the first game on the disc so you should wait for WKC 2)

 

Other recommendations:

Since you like hack&slash maybe you should try Nier it has an awesome story and great sound track
